Stretchy Bind Off for Socks
I’m almost done with my Sockapaltwoza socks.
I need to figure out a stretchy enough bind off, weave in the ends, tighten up the stitches around the heels and block them. Woo hoo! Then they’ll be off in the mail by Thursday morning, no problem.

Those socks are so cool! What a neat idea to use silk garden!
very nice!
Here’s a list of stretchy cast-offs for socks:

And here’s where I tried most of them out, and critiqued them:

One issue I had, that you wouldn’t have to worry about, is that my yarn was variegated, and the variegation often looked crappy in the bind-off. If I didn’t have to deal with that, my favorite would be the sewn cast-off. It looks a bit like a long-tail cast-on does, and it’s really nice and stretchy.

Very pretty!
I’ve never seen Silk Garden socks. They’re wonderful! Good idea to put it on the legs only, it looks great and probably feels nice as well.
