I’m in a Yarn Haze

Yesterday, I worked my third day at the store this week, and I think I’m a bit dizzy from all of the new yarn. There’s of course all of the Noro closeouts. Even though I’m not the biggest fan of Noro, I came home with 8 skeins of the Cash Iroha in a lovely dark teal for a Falling Leaves Shawl. And I couldn’t resist getting one of these new shawl pins to accompany it.

And thanks to Cirilia, I probably wouldn’t have even noticed all of the new Nature Wool closeouts. Lots of wonderful colors. Now my head is spinning with all sorts of projects inspired by my recent purchase of Mason Dixon Knitting. I’m picturing some felted nesting boxes with the bulky, and an afghan with the worsted. Maybe an afghan of hexagons, a la Nora Gaughan.

But on top of all this, WEBS is now carrying Rowan yarns and pattern books. I don’t have enough store credit to keep up. But I do have some new Rowan swatches to make for the store. That’ll help a bit. Oh, my head is spinning.
