Idiot Award Goes to…
Me! I’ve been moving along on my Clapotis. But I’ve been thinking that it’s taking a really long time to get through the beginning increase section. And why do I seem to be getting through the ball of yarn so quickly? And why does this thing seem to be getting too big? Was I that off on my gauge? So I pull out my pattern again and read it really carefully. It says to do the 12 rows of the increase pattern 7 times, not 12 as I had previously thought. I really feel stupid. I’m through the 10th repeat.
I pull out the needle, pick up the stitches in the row where I should have stopped (where you see the orange stitch markers), and rip out about 5,000 stitches. Now I’m finally in the straight section. And I’ve finally gotten to the first row where I drop stitches. Now maybe I’ll get somewhere with this thing.

OH that is going to be really pretty! :o)
After that first drop stitch row, you’ll rush to get to the next one. Some people wait until the very end to drop all the stitches, but it is too much fun to wait!
Did the knitting each stitch/lifted bar to the back loop work?
