Finished Project: Felted Potholders
Project Specs:
Pattern: I made it up. Hey, it’s just a garter stitch square. I did use two strands held together. Then I knit around for the border.
Yarn: Cascade 220
Needles: US 13 aluminum straight needles, and US 13 16# addi turbo needles
Size: about 8″ x 8″ after felting
My Blog Links: This, That and Everything in Between
I had actually made three of these, but one of them I crocheted the edge way too tightly. So after felting, it looked bad. Lesson learned. These were mailed off last week to my brother and sister-in-law. I haven’t heard yet if they’ve received them.

Great idea! I still haven’t found the box with all my potholders since we moved so I might just go ahead and knit/felt some new ones! Thx for the inspiration!
I think your potholders turned out quite smashing, look perfect (I MEAN it!) and are in the loveliest shades of blue. A job well done for certain!
that is a cool stitch pattern for the blue scarf below that the girl is wearing.
What a great idea for all that leftover wool i have from all those felted purses
How did you knit around (the potholder) Did you pick up stitches? Did you use 1 or 2 strands?
Beautiful!!
